Gaar, Scott & Co. of Richmond, Indiana built this steamer sometime around 1910. They were well known at the turn of the century for their range of steam traction engines and threshing equipment. They produced their first gas tractor around 1910, although this venture was short lived, as the business was bought by the M. Rumely company in 1911.
Unfortunately nothing is known at present as to the model or the horespower of this tractor, although it would be up there in the 40-70 class or higher. Maybe someone will visit the museum and fill in those blanks for us.
Coordinates are for the centre of the tractor and machinery section, as I expect you'll want to see them all.
Engine Type: Steam
Wheel Type: Steel
