This little four cylinder Avery 5-10, made in Peoria IL between 1920 and 1922, boasts a whopping 5 hp at the drawbar and 10 at the belt. To be fair, it tested as having 5.4 hp at the drawbar and 11.1 at the belt in Nebraska Tractor Tests.
Avery initially made huge steam tractors, as well as some pretty big gas models so a little gasoline tractor like this seems a bit out of character for them. This was the smallest of a line of 12 models that went from the 5-10 to the really big 40-80. Note the "Rube Goldberg" steering mechanism in the pix. Weird, but simple and direct.
Coordinates are for the centre of the tractor and machinery section, as I expect you'll want to see them all.
Engine Type: Internal Combustion
Wheel Type: Steel
Make: Avery Tractor Company
