This is a Bowlden Church Bell No. 32, 32 inch diameter bell, made from steel in Northville, Michigan, by the American Bell Foundry Company.

This bell was originally from the Center Christian Church, which was located approximately one mile north of the cemetery, and was active from 1867 until 1989. The building still exists and was later converted into a home.

This is a Bowlden Church Bell No. 32, 32 inch diameter bell, made from steel in Northville, Michigan, by the American Bell Foundry Company.

The American Bell Foundry Company was started in 1895, and was incorporated in 1899. In 1920 the company was sold to a firm from Ohio. 4 years later, the company name was changed to Bell Furnace & Manufacturing Co. and bell manufacture began to be phased out.

This bell sits in front of a wrought iron cemetery name sign for the Oakland Cemetery, near Elmdale in Coal Creek township, Montgomery County, Indiana, USA. The sign was placed there in 1917.
