Burrow Bridge is a fine stone bridge which carries the A683 main road over Leck Beck just before the river merges with the Lune River.

There are two arches which make the span of the bridge. The structure we see today is the result on road widening in 1968. In the pedestrian refuges on either side of the bridge deck are inscribed stones from the previous bridge built in 1735. The road was turnpiked in 1761, but the bridge would have been the county's concern by then. And 1735 probably reflects that rebuild from an even earlier structure.
The inscribed stones are grade 2 listed structures but not the bridge. (
