Die Thüringen-Kliniken „Georgius Agricola“ sind ein kommunales Krankenhaus mit drei Standorten: Saalfeld, Rudolstadt und Pößneck.
Die Thüringen-Kliniken sind nach dem deutschen Wissenschaftler Georgius Agricola benannt. Der „Vater der Mineralogie“ wurde 1494 in Glauchau geboren und starb 61 Jahre später in Chemnitz.
Am 19.11.1953 begann der Bau der Klinik in Saalfeld mit dem ersten Spatenstich.

The "Thüringen-Kliniken Georgius Agricola“ are a municipal hospital with three sites: Saalfeld, Rudolstadt and Pößneck.
The clinic is named after the german scientist Georgius Agricola "Father of mineralogy". He was born 1494 in Glauchau and died with 61 years in Chemnitz.
On 11/19/1953 the construction of the clinic in Saalfeld began with a groundbreaking ceremony.
