Mount Zion is one of the many Southern Baptist Churches in the Barry County Baptist Association. Some of the folks who had been members of the First Baptist Church of Washburn organized Mount Zion Baptist Church in 1974. This author has visited it several times and found the folks to be very friendly. In fact, the first time I visited, they asked me to be the special music - morning and evening!
