This building is located on the site of the first building in Stratford which, unfortunately, was demolished to make way for the Courthouse. Immediately behind the courthouse is the Stratford (formely Perth County) jail. The Oak tree on the left in the picture was planted to celebrate the coronation of King George V and was brought as a sapling from a forest in England.
