Waldie Environmental Reserve Lookout is located about 500 metres from the trailhead. Foot traffic only and dogs must be kept on a leash.
Turn right onto Old Mill Road then drive down the gravel road and under the train bridge to the parking lot.

From this lookout there is a spectacular view of the river and the bridge.
The Waldie Environmental Reserve protects Waldie Island, Breakwater Island, the wetland waterways and the Columbia River shoreline. Waldie Island is designated as a protected eco system important to the preservation of a Great Blue Heron summer nesting area and winter home.
