I watched my first football game in 1982 at this field though the benches were wood and the facade was easily seen as 'homemade'. But the bright lights and Friday night football games were exciting and memorable. Now the benches are upgraded, the lettering is updated and there is even a modern turnstile for attendee security. And the lights are brighter than ever.
