군산 어린이교통공원
This park is laid out with streets, crosswalks, railroad tracks, all of the different traffic signs and child-sized cars. There is also a large meeting hall where educational activities can be held. Of course there are the typical Korean mascots to great the children.
There is a larger section adjoining this park with fountains, sculptures, a rose garden.
Although the facilities are quite nice, the park overall seemed poorly maintained on our visit. It actually appears that this section of the city was built from reclaimed land, laid out for industry and residences, but never really developed. Very wide streets with very little traffic. This section serves mainly now to form the northern entrance/terminus to the magnificent Saemangeum Seawall - the longest seawall in the world.
