Jurlin was a small settlement in the upper part of the Paklenica Valley/Paklenica Nationalpark. To visit the place you have to climb up the steep path beside the mountain of Anica Kuk, leaving the main hikingpath in the Paklenica canyon or you hike along the other valley called "Mala Paklenica".

There are some old uninhabitated houses, build out of stone. Nobody lives there anymore. I don't know when people left this place. Nature comes back. There are everywhere bushes and trees(sometimes thorny ones). Snakes, scorpions and spiders live in and around the houses under the stones. In one house there are some bats living in summertime. Very wild-romantic place.

Be careful and do not try to climb up wooden stairs or walk on wooden covers. Don't even walk on the stony roofs of the buildings! Nobody knows how much weight they might stand and there are quite seldom people to rescue somebody!
