This small Southern Baptist Church is about 4 miles southwest of Washburn, Missouri, as the crow flies, or about 5 miles by Ozark roads.
Here the Word of God is preached, rather than man's ideas or opinions, and in a loving and challenging manner. The folks here are willing to admit that, if they are disturbed by a message, then perhaps they need to examine their own thinking against the written Word of God, the Bible, rather than insisting that the message be changed.
In the booklet
100 years of the Barry County [Southern] Baptist Association (1883-1983) by Pauline Cox, the first mention of Prairie Hill is on page 43 during the 1959 annual BCSBA meeting.
The author of this waymark is the church pianist, and my wife is the song leader. In the latter half of 2012 the church attendance rose dramatically for a small church.
You are welcome to come and worship the Lord Jesus with us, and to listen to His Word.
