Khon Kaen and Korat (Nakhon Ratchasima) are two provinces of north east Thailand (Isan). The two provinces are largely agricultural, both with large capital cities. This road is a major highway running from Laos through to Bangkok. Surprisingly, there is no large tourist sign stretched across the border crossing, as is the norm. The border region is natural bushland, and there is a small bridge over an equally small river at the crossing point. There are no restrictions at the border and no welcome facilities.
Type Of Crossing: State/Region

Where is the border located?: Highway
