This bus station lies in the south of the north eastern Thai province of Khon Kaen, and serves the district capital of Phon. In design the station is a long, rectangular waiting area, with bus parking bays around. A total of twelve bays. There is a large open area around the station, with shops, restaurants, and small stores, ready to serve the many customers.
This station is on the direct route south to Bangkok. From here buses leave and depart to the villages within the district and north to the provincial capital, plus buses pass through heading south to Bangkok or north towards Laos.
