Ban Phai is a district capital of the north eastern Thai province of Khon Kaen. It is on the route south from the provincial capital to the metropolis of Bangkok. In design it consists of a long, rectangular covered waiting area, around which there are bus parking bays. At the front of the station is a ticketing area. From here buses travel north to Khon Kaen City, and to the small villages in the district, plus buses pass through here on the long route south to Bangkok, and north to Laos. Food and drink, a busy station.
