The Pic de Morgon is 2324 m high. The climb to the top can only be done by walking and the climb is around 800 - 900 m from the parking space. The top of the mountain is marked by a croncrete block that was taken here by helicopter. The view from the top is amazing! The entire Lac de Serre/Poncon can be seen from the top and the blue of the lake is contrasting beautifully with the mountains of the Alps. At the other side you can see the Cirque de Morgon, a round ridge that was formed by glacial processes.
