I found no information on William Rector.

This dark gray granite slab type marker is located in the Lee's Summit Cemetery towards the southern side. The family name - RECTOR - is at the top of the marker. The inscription William Gerald 1881 - 1918, then the Woodman Seal. The marker rests on a quarry-faced light grey granite base.
