A wooden sculpture of a medieval miner in time typical work clothes, near the Saalfeld Fairy Grottoes. The sculpture was created in the workshop of woodcarver Walther Schmidt from Zeulenroda. The sculpture has been there since 1972.
In der Nähe der Saalfelder Feengrotten steht diese Holzfigur eines mittelalterlichen Bergmannes in damals typischer Arbeitskleidung. Die Figur entstand in der Werkstadt des Holzbildhauers Walther Schmidt aus Zeulenroda. Sie wurde im Jahr 1972 vor Ort enthüllt.
