The Trail Cemetery was established in the late 1800's and located in the Tadanac region on Aldridge Avenue. In 1957 it was decided to relocate the cemetery.
The plaque that is currently displayed in the Old Trail Cemetery was originally on an old cenotaph in the original Tadanac region cemetery. It was removed, relocated and remounted on the current cenotaph in 1957.
The plaque is showing oxidation and difficult to read. As requested, the plaque is going to be evaluated and possibly restored by the city of Trail.
