Near the Trail Airport, this machine has been placed on a side road in the industrial park to attract attention to the auto wrecker on the other side of the fence.

Couldn't find a name or nameplate anywhere on this car, but a wild guess makes it about a 1948 Austin A40 Dorset. Can't think of any other cars that look just like this one. It's been pretty much trashed, and the outlook for further self-motivation doesn't look good.
Austin would never claim that their intention was to win a design award when they came up with the Dorset. Cheap, utilitarian transportation for the British masses was their only goal. Ultimately, it became cheap, utilitarian transportation for parts of the rest of the world, as well.
