Seven-sided stone tower was built in 1942 and for many years served only geodetic purposes. Since 2004, ceased to serve this purpose, and gradually transformed into a tourist destination and lookout.
The tower offers overlooks over Sumava, Krušné hory, Ceské Stredohorí, Ješted and Snezka.

Kamenná sedmiboká vež byla postavena v roce 1942 a dlouhá léta sloužila jen geodetickým úcelum. Od roku 2004 prestala tomuto úcelu sloužit a postupne se premenila v turistický cíl a rozhlednu.
Z veže je výhled na šumavské vrcholky, Krušné hory a Ceské Stredohorí, Ješted i Snežku.
