Die Schloßmühle ist eine von 4 alten Wassermühlen im Saubachtal auf dem Gemeindegebiet Klipphausens. In den 80ern war die Mühle verlassen und verfiel stark. Nachdem die Mühle wieder in Privatbesitz gelangte, erfolgte eine umfassende Sanierung des Mühlenhofs, Erneuerung der Mühlentechnik und eine Neuanlage des Mühlgrabens. Die Mühle kann zum Deutschen Mühlentag am Pfingsmontag besichtig werden.
This mill is one of four old water mills in the valley of Saubach in the municipality of Klipphausen. In the '80s, was the mill was abandoned and ruined. After the mill came back into private ownership, there was a comprehensive renovation of the Mill court, reconstruction of the mill technology and a new installation of the millrace. The mill can be visited at the German Mill Day on Whit Monday.
