The beach has a number of amenities that are available to users of this beach that is great for wading, swimming and snorkling. There are picnic areas, showers, restrooms and a lifeguard station.
The beach is open from 7 am to 8 pm daily. There is a fair bit of parking for this medium sized beach. If the parking or on street parking is full north is Kamaole I and to the south Kamaole III.
They are in the process of trying to reclaim some of the dune features that exist along the beach. Areas are roped off and users are expected to use the paths that have been kept open. the beach is relatively wide and there is lots of space for beach games...frisbee might be a challenge. If you bring a dog down here, not likely in the hottest part of the year, it's just too warm be sure to clean up after your dog.
Motorized vehicles are not permitted but the lifeguards have access with their quad in case of emergency.
