Die ganzjährig geöffnete Wengeralm liegt direkt an einer Skiabfahrt und ist im Winter sehr gut mit Ski oder Snowboard erreichbar, im Sommer mit dem Mountainbike oder auch zu Fuß. Von der Mittelstation der Dorfgasteiner Bergbahn ist ein ungefähr halbstündiger Fußmarsch notwendig.
Das Restaurant bietet eine reichhaltige Speisen-und Getränkekarte. Allein durch die riesige Sonnenterrasse(mit Bedienung) ist der Besuch der Wengeralm empfehlenswert. Das rustikale Ambiente im inneren der Hütte ist ebenfalls sehenswert.
Zum Apres-Ski befindet sich direkt neben der Alm ein Party-Schirm mit Bar.
Open all year, Wengeralm is right on a ski slope in winter and is easily accessible by ski or snowboard in the summer by mountain bike or on foot. From the middle station of the Dorfgasteiner cable car an about a half hour walk is necessary.
The restaurant offers an extensive food and drink menu. Solely by the huge sun terrace (with table service) of the Wengeralm a visit is recommended. The rustic ambience in the interior of the hut is also worth seeing.
For apres-ski is right next to the pasture a party screen with bar
