The River Nan meanders its gentle (when it is not in flood) way through the centre of Phitsanulok City, in northern Thailand. On the eastern side of the River, adjacent to the southern bridge across the River, is this shrine. Large and colourful, it contains an image of the Buddha. Locals working in the city, or people leaving the city will come by to pay their respects.
