This collection of eleven labyrinths and mazes, varying greatly both in size and in the materials they are made from, is the first in the Czech Republic and the only one in Europe. As you walk along the paths between the individual mazes you'll read about the history of mazes and labyrinths and about how they have been used to aid meditation and in works of art.
The Labyrintarium (

Difference between labyrinth and maze
- in the labyrinth always leads only one way to the center and back
- in the maze you can meet with various blind alleys and other pitfalls
Hint for Pavement Maze
The maze may be taken in two ways - firstly, as a straightforward maze following the paths regardless of the path colour, making your various choices in order to reach your goal. And secondly, by taking alternate path colours at each of the junctions (shown here in brown) - for example red, cream, red etc - until they lead you to your goal
The chateau and Labyrintarium is open all year round: (
