They all look rather alike? Behold! This coin-op monocular in front of Orangerie castle is probably the finest example of its species I've ever seen. Carefully designed in brass and silver, it's really a sight of its own and exquisitely matches its historic surroundings. The view is across the Karlswiese lawn far into the Karlsaue state park.

Die sehen ja doch alle gleich aus? Aber hallo! Dieses Münzfernrohr vor der Orangerie ist wahrscheinlich das schönste Exemplar seiner Gattung, das ich je gesehen habe. Die kunstvolle Ausführung in Messing und Silber lässt es selbst zu einem Hingucker werden und passt ganz vorzüglich zur historischen Umgebung. Der Blick geht über die Karlswiese hinweg bis weit in die Karlsaue hinein.
