West Access Point - State Game Land 45 - Van, PA - North Country Trail on Waymarking.com

The light blue plastic blazes are the only indication at this access point that you're on the North Country Trail. From the NCT Associate website, we learn that "Through PA State Game lands the Trail comes to a point where the hikers can choose their own adventure; the North Country Trail follows the scenic Clarion River corridor southwest, while the Allegheny Valley Rail Trail heads northwest for 40 miles before the two reconnect on the eastern bank of the great Allegheny River opposite the famously small city of Parker, PA." This trail section is part of the alternative. Follows the former Penn Central railroad bed, thus an easy terrain hike.

This access point is just off US322.
