The railway station is at 7654 Donaldson Drive, about four blocks north off Highway 3 on the western edge of Grand Forks. Coordinates are for the entrance to the Grill/Pub.
The little handcar is on display inside the building, upstairs in the dining room, along with other railway related pictures and paraphernalia. The style and the size of the handcar indicates that is pretty old, as I've never seen another of this style.
If one didn't have to travel terribly far and if one didn't have to carry too terribly many tools, this would be a very economical mode of transportation to the job site, an aspect that I'm sure was prized by management. As a rail inspection vehicle, it was probably unsurpassed for economy.
