Constructed in 1898, the building served as a Hose Hall, storing fire apparatus until a new fire hall was built in 1900. Mr. James Jordan purchased this building and the one next to it and opened “the largest furniture store in the interior of BC".
Today the building hosts a number of businesses, among them Nature's Den Health Foods and J. C. Griffiths, Notary.
This building is registered in the Rossland Heritage Register.
