Guernsey County Desert Storm Memorial - Cambridge, Ohio
This memorial was placed recently by the Veterans of Guernsey County to honor and remember those who served in Operation Desert Storm. The monument is of a darker granite and has a American Flag with a ribbon at the head of the marker, followed by the following text:
In honor of
those who served in
Operation Desert Storm
“I have seen in your eyes a fire of
determination to get this job done quickly so that we may all return
to the shores of our great nation
. My confidence in you is total. Our
cause is just! Now you must be the
thunder and lightning of Desert Storm.”

Following the inscription, there is artwork of the "battlefield" and to close, the footplate has each seal of the branch of the Armed Forces, followed by : One Nation Under God... United We Stand
