We spent the night at Lemon Creek, and being an early riser, when I opened the door a small black bear greeted me. He was as surprised as I was and scampered off into the woods.
The rest area is mostly wooded with a few hiking trails, but the highlight is Lemon Creek. It was cool and barely daybreak when I grabbed the camera and headed down to the bridge.
There are some facilities, an outdoor privy and a few picnic tables are available.
If you are in the area, stop if nothing else but to enjoy the view.
