Nevsehir is the land transport nexus for western Cappadocia, with a busy Otogar (bus terminal). If you ride a bus from a distant city, it'll probably come to Nevsehir, and you'll probably continue to your final destination (a Cappadocian town) by dolmus (minibus).
Unfortunately for travellers, in 2010 the city moved its bus station to a new modern building, but also to a new location far to the southwest of the city centre, making transport to and from towns like Avanos, Göreme, Mustafapasa, Uçhisar and Ürgüp more time-consuming and expensive.
