More and more, Utah is closing the public highway rest areas and joining with private companies, usually travel plazas, to provide rest area services for the motoring public. This Pilot/Flying J travel plaza has teamed with the state to create the Eagles Landing Rest Area on the northeast side of the small town of Scipio.
As an added attraction, there is a Petting Zoo at this rest area.
