The Ballarat Street Bridge is a Category I structure on the Heritage Trust register and was constructed in 1882. The stone arch bridge was constructed by local stone mason, James McNeil. The bridge crosses Horne Creek previously known as Town Creek. The single arch bridge is constructed of coursed rubble schist, a locally available stone.
The bridge continues to serve it original purpose.
