Holy Trinity Halls began life as
the Trinity National
School
founded in 1836 by the Revd. Edward Blick.
It is also the site of
two historic rope wells
which have now been
restored.
The area was once used for ship
building and repair and the wells would have been used to stretch ropes before
they went onboard ship.
