Roborough rock is an igneous outcrop on the western fringes of the granite massif of Dartmoor. It rises about 10 metres above the surrounding flat heathland, and climbing to the top for the views can be a bit slippery where countless adventurers have polished the stone smooth over the years. Although not strictly a granite structure, Roborough Rock is a tor-like rocky outcrop on Dartmoor, and so has been categorised as Dartmoor Granite.
