I recovered this U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey benchmark from 1943 after seeing it listed on a topography map as BM 4539. The benchmark is in good condition and even has the nearby original white witness post painted white behind it. The benchmark is located east of an abandoned dirt road and .4 miles north of an abandoned white house as mentioned in the datasheet. My GPS coordinates will place you very close to the station.
