You would expect to see a building looking like this after an earthquake in California or Alaska, not Missouri. But several of the largest quakes in the country occured in eastern Missouri, near Memphis, Tennessee, in 18-11 and 1812. So this could indeed portend the future for some parts of Missouri, if not Branson.

Pity the poor building inspector who had to check the contractor's work while the building was being built. It would be hard to tell the difference between something that was an error and something that was intentionally designed to be wrong!!
