This Case appears not to have had much in the way of TLC in the last 85 years, as a lot of it seems to have been allowed to vaporize. In any event, what's left is the greater percentage of a Case Crossmotor, probably a 12-20 or an 18-32, as they were made in the greatest numbers. The shifter tells me it had 2 forward speeds and one reverse. The engine was a 4 cylinder valve in head gasoline guzzler.
Crossmotor Cases were made from 1921 to 1929, when they were phased out in favour of a longitudinally mounted engine. Records show that a total of 9,237 12-20s were made.
Coordinates are for the entrance to the display area.
Engine Type: Internal Combustion
Wheel Type: Steel
Make: J. I. Case Company
Model: 12-20
