The abstract sculpture 'Der Besitz' (The Ownership) is located at a small plaza at the 'Stadtgrabenstraße' in Böblingen, Germany, Baden-Württemberg.

It was created by Silke Hemmer in 2003.

It is made of stainless steel and red lime stone.
Its height is about 2.5 meters!

There's a plaque with details.

It was a donation of two companies: Schmid + Drüppel and Raiss

The sculpture was deliberately destroyed in 2003 and rebuilt by the artist.


UPDATE 2017: The sculpture is missing. It's unknown where is is now.
