Marshall is located approximately 16 km southeast of Lloydminster on the Yellowhead Hwy. The Marshall welcome sign is located at the north end of town on the Yellowhead Hwy. It sits up on a knoll, so look up and you cannot miss it.

We were on our way to Lloydminster, when we spotted this great sign. Just had to pull off to the side of the road and snap a picture. Be sure and watch for traffic as the Yellowhead is very busy.

A large oil tank on the highway on the north side of Marshall is the town symbol, painted upon it are the words, “Welcome to Marshall: Black Gold Country!” Work in the oil fields and related services, as well as agriculture, form the basis of the region's economy.
