With a fantastic view of the Rocky Mountains, this welcome sign has the community's logo - "Proudly a Community in Rocky View", they are proud and they have the view in Springbank, Alberta.

Springbank is located immediately west of the City of Calgary and consists primarily of rural-residential acreages that have developed east of the city. The community is named after Springbank Creek that flows into the Bow River.

Located in the community is the Springbank Airport which was the 12th busiest airport in Canada in 2011 in terms of total aircraft movements.

This sign is found on Springbank Road, north of the TransCanada Highway.
