In Foxborough, on the Foxborough Town Common, is a memorial for those who served in the World War.
The monument is located on the south end of the common, near the edge. The commone is circled by a rotary, so be careful trying to cross.
The monument is a bronze plaque embedded in rock. The plaque has an image of a soldier with a gun to the left and right. Near the top is a image of a shield and draped garland. The text below is as follows:
"Honor Roll of Foxboro
Dedicated to those who served
their country in the World War"
Below that is a list of names. I believe the star next to a name means that the person had died in service.
On top of the rock is an image of an eagle, in gold color.
