Im Januar 1996 fand man ein Domizil im 2.Obergeschoß einer ehemaligen Fabrik in Selbitz, 500m2 Hallenfläche direkt an der idyllischen Regionalbahnstrecke von Hof nach Bad Steben. Durch den Umbau zu einem modernen Ausstellungsgebäude wurden die Weichen für den erfolgreichen Start von LOK LAND gestellt.
Seit dem 30. November 1996 stehen die Signale auf grün. Bahn frei für das LOK LAND in Selbitz. Das Eisenbahnparadies befindet sich fast im Gebäudehimmel, also ganz oben.
