This bridge was built in 1910 when the Grand Union Canal was widened. The canal passes through Milton Keynes on its way from London to the midlands and passes under many such bridges on its journey. The date stone, or rather brick, can be found in the centre of the north-side parapet in the eighth row of bricks.
