Elm Dale School is located about four miles south of Clintonville, WI at the intersection of US Hwy 45 and Elm Dale Road in the town of Bear Creek.

The school was also known as Joint District Number 2 Bear Creek. The present yellow brick building replaced a small white frame school. The inscription above the door states the Elm Dale School was built in 1911. The School closed in 1955. The building was used for many years as the Bear Creek Town Hall. Presently the building houses the Elm Dale Antiques.
