Though these solar powered lights wouldn't have been collecting much solar energy on the day we took the pix, their storage batteries seemed to be keeping up.
Solar power has now been with us long enough that it has begun to fade into the background. We had been at the hospital several times before we noticed that the crosswalk lights at the corner of the hospital had solar panels mounted on them. There are two of them, one each end of the crosswalk, reminding motorists that there is a crosswalk there.
