První zmínka o tomto pivovaru je již z 15.století. Tehdy byl dum zván „U Sezemských“, podle komorníka zemských desek krále Václava IV. Sezemy. V 17.století získal pivovar sladovník Jan Halámek a po nem získal jméno, které je videt dodnes nad vjezdem, prestože se majitelé menili. Pivovar zde vedla ješte paní Anna, matka Vojty Náprstka. Ješte v roce 1873 zde byl rocní výstav piva približne 2535 hl. Vojta však mel jiné zájmy a tak brzy po její smrti, v roce 1870 tento velký a významný pivovar zaniká.

The first mention of this brewery is already in the 15th century. At that time the house was called a "U Sezemských," according to state records chamberlain of King Wenceslas IV. Sezema. In the 17th century acquired brewery brewer Jan Halámek and after him a name which is still visible above the entrance, even though the owners have changed. There was still a brewery Anna, mother Vojta Náprstek. Even in 1873 there was an annual beer production approximately 2535 hl. Vojta had other interests and so soon after her death, in 1870, this large and significant brewery was closed.
