While this overlook is accessible by any automobile the trip getting here is not for the faint of heart or anyone with loose fillings in their teeth! The roads are narrow with sharp blind hairpin curves and drop-offs of hundreds of feet. The last 2 1/2 miles is a steep rough gravel road with enough bumps to rattle your brain. But the view is worth every foot of rough travel.

There absolutely no facilities at this overlook and it is closed from the first snowfall in winter until the snow melts off the shaded areas of the access road.
